45 Pounds Sassy is a high energy little ball of fur, very loving once she gets to know you, but needs a strong human leader. Right now, she does NOT like strangers, but her foster family is hoping to get her over that by letting her meet lots of new people. She gets along ok with most dogs but may have some issues with dominant dogs. She plays a little rough with other dogs sometimes and will chase cats, no matter how much her foster mama scolds her.....and she doesn't care if they turn around and scratch her! She loves her human siblings and loves running with them. She is not very food oriented, so treats as a training tool is not very affective. She sleeps in a crate at night and when her foster mama's not home to directly supervise her. She is living with 4 other dogs currently, and after the first few days, they seemed to get along fine. She's quick to learn other dogs' boundaries but will still challenge them when she can. Just living up to her name! UPDATE: after working with her a lot, she is no longer skittish and afraid of strangers. :)
