UPDATE 12/6: Khloe is an all around good girl. She is great with kids (young and old), great with all adults, and great/gentle with seniors. She is friendly with pretty much everyone, not timid or shy at all. She likes dogs and would do best with a companion, but she doe not like ALL dogs. She seems to like more mellow dogs, not dogs that are rambunctious. She also likes to try and chase cats and small dogs, so she is predatory, and would do best in a home with no cats or small dogs. She is well behaved at the vet, and enjoys getting baths. She is very well behaved in the car, and loves to go on car rides! She does show a few signs of separation anxiety (like hopping the baby gate and messing up the blinds to try to see where her foster mom went) but if crated when you leave the house this problem would likely solve itself. She does not mind a crate, and often lays in it when the door is open. Change does not seem to bother her, so someone with a varying schedule or routine would not phase her. She is a great eater, and is very treat oriented and eager to please, so she would be very easy to train. She already knows sit, stay, come, paw, and lay down. She does like to blow bubbles when she knows she is getting a treat though! (but what boxer doesn't?!) She is a very very sweet girl who would love to go on walks with you! She is good on a leash, but will sometimes try to go after cats and small dogs if you aren't careful. Although she enjoys walks and running, she would also love to just be a couch potato with you. She isn't high energy at all, but does enjoy playing with toys. She loves being around people. She currently follows her foster mom from room to room.. so being alone for long periods of time would not make her very happy. She loves people too much. She is a very good listener who minds her foster family very well. Her foster mom says she won't even walk through a doorway without permission! UPDATE 11/6: Khloe is in a new foster home and is doing fantastic with her new family, including her new canine boxer sibling. However, she just does not cats......well she likes them, but a little TOO much. So her forever home will have to be a home without cats for the safety of all the fur-family members. She also has had another vet visit, and the vet has told us she is only 2-3 years old! Khloe is ready to find her forever family. She hopes to meet you soon and show you what a sweetheart she is!
